Baguio Treats

Baguio is well known for its cold weather and fresh vegetables, it is also a place where you can find unique food like bottled sweets and treats. The most famous of all Baguio sweets that almost all tourists from Manila would bring with them when they get back home are Strawberry Jam, Peanut Brittle, some Ube Jam, Strawberry wine and other sorts of  home made food. If you like “Purple Yam” or Ube in Tagalog,  I would personally recommend that you get the one that’s made by “”Good Shepherd”, I’ve tasted lots of Ube Jam from all over the country, but I’ve never tasted anything like Good Shepherd’s Ube Jam. These Ube treats are actually made by Nuns, known as the good shepherd nuns of Baguio City, be sure to share this yummy dessert to your family and friends!
